The challenge To prepare the large-scale installations, the were using desktop 3D printers, thus 69 pieces had to be printed in order to get the whole face. In such cases, assembling the elements, the post-processing, sanding and painting are key issue to achieve a precise result.
The solution The stage set, which included mythological elements and symbols of world religions, was planned by the members of the band, while the 3D printing and design was done by Craftunique. Most of the elements of the face were printed from Filaticum Model filament.
The result Thanks to the gypsum content of Filaticum Model filament, the objects are easily and nicely sandable, paintable and glueable, which helped to fit together smoothly the elements in the project. The installation, assembled from individual elements, is still on display in a club in Budapest, but already painted in black.
